As a writer, I often find myself in different locations while I work on my laptop. I was tired of balancing my laptop on my knees or suffering other distractions associated with awkward work surfaces, so I bought myself a Zenlap Lapmate. Oh happy days! Because of its lightweight portability, the Lapmate will travel with you to the garden, beach, sofa, bed, and mountain top! (mine has, except the mountain top.) What's more, it lends itself to a variety of functions. For instance, because the legs easily extend, you may set it up as a little table; you may also flip the ribbed top that holds your laptop over to the smooth side which presents an ideal surface should you feel like drawing, painting, or, dare I say? -- writing with pen or pencil. If, like me, you read in bed, the Zenlap Lapmate also makes a perfect book rest. I could go on, but you will find your own unique uses for this wonderful invention. I wouldn't be without my Lapmate, and I am ordering one in fuchsia for my ten-year old granddaughter.
